The Sucky Dam functions much like every rubber dam ever used in dentistry but has vast improvements. Suctioning is adhered to the underside of the rubber sheet.

The unique shape of the hosing provides a tear resistant zone. Please see Fig. 1 above.

In this zone a standard hole/holes can be punched in the exact same manner as with current rubber dam products. Fig. 2.

It is also possible to place a larger opening in the zone like a cut. Fig. 3.

The Sucky Dam is used with most types of rubber dam clamps found in any dental office.
